So after a very intense quarter, I am finally on winter break! I am fairly certain I passed 3 of my classes, and have my fingers crossed on the fourth. Learned more about Maya and Motion Builder than I thought I could in one quarter. So much so, my brain is still kinda aching from the pounding it received.
But I'm on break now! Time to catch up on the many nights of missed sleep! And maybe even meditate a bit, all the stress this quarter kinda threw off my calm. I gotta hang out with all the friends I've been missing too, cuz once the break is over I'll go back into my 'get shit done' mode and they probably won't see me again til my next break.
So Christmas is almost here! Most years I am more or less prepared for this day a week or two in advance, but because of the hectic-ness of this last quarter I am veerrry far behind this year. I can't wait tho! I'll get to see my whole family again, which doesn't happen often anymore, and maybe even get some presents I like!
As for New Years, which is also approaching at high speed, I might actually be able to enjoy it this year! For the past 2 years, I have been the closing cashier at my job on new years eve, which means I clocked out of work at midnight as the ball dropped. No parties, no fun. But this year there are actually people lower in seniority than me, which mean I should get off earlier. Which mean I should be able to have some kind of fun! This is VERY exciting for me!
And being on break means I have time to do what I want artistically and just in general, so I've set some goals for myself this winter break. They are as follows:
* Do at least 2 watercolor paintings (I really enjoy doing those)
* Throw down at least one short character animation (Practice, practice)
* Budget so I don't start the new year completely broke (So hard!)
* Finish the book I've been reading, and start another (Yay books!)
* Find some love (Come on ladies, I know you want me)
* Workout! (Got the muscles, lets make them BIGGER! haha)
And that's pretty much all I got for now. Merry Christmas Everyone! And Happy New Year!
